Oslo Startup Day: Accel & SNÖ talk VC Funding

For 2021’s first edition of Oslo Startup Day, you can set the agenda. We have partnered up with SNÖ Ventures & Accel to answer all your questions regarding Venture Funding. The two VC firms invest in early stage startups, but what are they looking for when investing in new companies? You ask the questions, we will do our best to answer them.

Carlo Giovanni Biggio - Vice President at Accel

Carlo Giovanni Biggio focuses on Cloud, Fintech and Security businesses.

Prior to joining Accel, Carlo was with Anthemis and Rocket Internet, focusing on early-stage European startups.

Max Samuel - Partner at SNÖ Ventures

Max joined SNÖ after spending six years at Thiel Capital, Peter Thiel’s personal investment office, in Los Angeles and San Francisco. At Thiel Capital, Max served in a number of leadership roles across investment management, legal and compliance.

Before joining Thiel Capital, Max worked at the law firm Wilson Sonsini in Silicon Valley, where he advised high growth technology companies ranging from pre-incorporation to exit. Prior to his time at Wilson Sonsini, Max was an Equity Capital Markets Analyst at Credit Suisse in New York City.
